Sydney suburb the highest earning in the country

The Sydneysiders is reported as the highest earnings in Australia with the average taxable income of more than $185,000, this according to the report from the Tax Office (ATO). Areas that are included in the well-heeled harbourside suburbs of Darling Point and Point Piper (right) wherein most of the famous and rich people have their home.

Sydney reported have the most increased taxable income among other places in Australia, real estate property that are situated in the wealthiest street in Australia: Wolseley Road.

The second place that ranked as second highest earning postcode is the Melbourne suburb of Toorak. As the figures released that they have earned with an average income of $165,714. Portsea on the Mornington Peninsular has been reported to get into top three.

From the Tax Office’s data for the 2008 fiscal year, most of the taxpayers have their real estate property earned an average of $160,592. While Sydney’s status as Australia’s wealth capital with seven of the top ten grossing suburbs situated in the Emerald City, according to the ATO data. Mosman, Dover Heights, Bellevue Hill, Northbridge, Woollahra and Hunters Hill are also in the zone that all made the top ten with average income of more than $127,000.

More and more Aussies have been investing in a real estate properties, and according to the data of ATO, one in seven taxpayers owns at least one property.
