Northern Territory one of the most affordable place
From the Real Estate Institute statement that the Northern Territory is one of the most affordable places in Australia to invest in homes for sale. Quentin Killian head of the Institute’s Northern Territory recently stated that according to the survey about 23 percent of a family’s income is needed to pay an apartment for rent or homes for sale. He added that his is much lower amount than other places in the land down under.
The figures from the published data stated that next to ACT the Northern Territory is still the most reasonably priced place to invest in homes for sale, that will help a lot of people especially those who doesn’t have extra income and cannot afford real estate property in the market today, Mr Killian added.
However the head Vicki O’Halloran of the welfare group Somerville Community Services said that this study and figures of date doesn’t exactly mean into reality. She said that it does not mean the figures shows a positive result reflect in the actual account of people living in the Territory. She added that there are still quite a lot of people in the Territory struggling and seeking help from their organization.
Mr Killian admits the study does not take account of those other factors nevertheless he stands by the figures.
